Are you and I, the American populus, truly represented by our current politicians?
The belief of the PTG movement is rooted in America-first values, emphasizing that no, we are not in the favor of those in power ultimately and certainly not represented by the current politicians. Our populus is not mostly white, wealthy, and born before 1950, and this should be reflected by our representatives. Our mission seeks to increase transparency, honesty, and integrity through an America-first, non-partisan candidate. Overseas dealings that line the pockets of those in power have only served to keep the rich richer and the poor poorer. Insider trading through economic shifts does the same thing, giving money to those who are "in the know." It needs to be known that there is much more of a class issue than an ideological issue in America. When sides are put down, opinions are heard and understood, and it's only then that good change be made. Our current two-party system does not promote reaching across the aisle and this also must change. Many countries elect officials vastly different than we do, with systems that allow minority opinions to have an equal say. The division of Americans whether personally or politically is ultimately the downfall of our nation and as such the ultimate goal of PTG is to bring people together and promote more constructive, honest politics to better our nation.
